ATHMAR PARK

ABOUT ATHMAR PARK

Athmar Park is nestled just Southwest of Central Denver, with Alameda Ave as its North boundary, Federal Blvd to the West, Mississippi to the South and I-25 to the East. This neighborhood is a great option for anyone wanting to be just a hop, skip and a jump away from it all, while still offering housing at a more affordable price than many neighborhoods in the Metro area.

There is easy access to downtown Denver, Cherry Creek, Wash Park, South Pearl Street, Belmar, and miles of recreation paths on the South Platte River Bike Path / Mary Carter Greenway. Athmar Park is also home to three parks; Huston Lake Park, Clifford Aspgren Park and Vanderbilt Lake Park. And don’t forget the nearby Levitt Pavilion where you can take in some amazing live music and views of the city. The Alameda Light Rail Stop is located right across Santa Fe & I-25 and connects residents to the rest of the city. Check out the RTD interactive map here. Download the RTD Map here.

Many of the curving neighbor streets are comprised of single-family ranch-style homes & brick bungalows built from the 1940s and 1950s during the area’s first housing boom after World War II. And you’ll be excited to sample nearby diverse world class cuisines such as New Saigon (top-rated Vietnamese), Star Kitchen (a busy Chinese restaurant known for its dim sum dishes), La Calle Taqueria y Carnitas and the Asian Cajun.
