ABOUT CAPITOL HILL

Known as one of Denver’s most historic and eclectic neighborhoods, Capitol Hill is bordered by Colfax Avenue to the north, North Broadway to the west and the Governor’s Park neighborhood to the south. Capitol Hill is one of the most densely populated areas in Denver due to its close proximity to downtown, the Capitol Building and Civic Center Park. As one of Denver’s original neighborhoods, it features a tasteful mix of luxury flats, high-rise condo buildings, Victorians, historic mansions and Denver Squares. You can even tour In fact, you can tour one belonging to legendary Titanic survivor, the Unsinkable Molly Brown. With a mixture of new and old, Capitol Hill offers everything from its namesake, the Colorado State Capitol building, to a hip nightlife scene, historic museums, and can’t-miss local shops and restaurants.

 

In your back yard is Cheesman Park, a great urban escape where residents can go for a run, throw a Frisbee, play kickball, have a picnic, or just relax and read a book in the sun. Residents of the area are also within walking distance of a diverse collection of bars, fine dining restaurants, fast food joints, music venues, convenience stores, eclectic specialty shops, and even the State Capitol Building.
