GLENDALE
ABOUT GLENDALE
Glendale is a Denver neighborhood that is rich in history and full of charm. From its humble beginnings as a farming community to its current status as a popular Denver suburb, Glendale has something for everyone. Plus it’s minutes away from Cherry Creek North (without the price tag) and provides easy access to downtown Denver and the I-25 corridor.
There are a few different types of houses you will find in Glendale: original post-war ranch style homes on large lots, new construction luxury townhomes, and everything in between. It’s a residential area for many individuals who work in the city or in the surrounding office buildings in Cherry Creek and Glendale. Another huge draw is 850 acres of outdoor spaces, 7 parks and the Cherry Creek Trail. This is a perfect in-between of getting some city living with peaceful escapes walking distance from your door.
Another unique & historic aspect of Glendale is Four Mile Park, which acted as a rental home along the Cherokee Trail, which was a trail to the California gold fields. The site of where this home was first constructed was originally a campground for Native people, it then developed into a site for a home that was intended to be today what we would today call an Air BnB. This home is the oldest standing structure in Denver, it turned 160 years old in 2019!
