LOWER HIGHLAND (LoHi)

ABOUT LOWER HIGHLAND (LoHi)

In addition to its gorgeous homes, LoHi is also home to some of Denver's best restaurants, bars and breweries. Whether you're looking for a casual bite or a fine dining experience, you'll be able to find it in this vibrant neighborhood. With a multitude of cultural attractions, a vibrant rooftop scene and close proximity to Downtown Denver, it’s no wonder that young hip couples are flocking to LoHi and it’s considered one of the best neighborhoods in the central Denver core.

Located in the eastern section of the popular Highland neighborhood, LoHi is bordered by West 38th Avenue, Interstate 25, Zuni Street and Speer Boulevard. Once an affordable neighborhood for recent immigrants, many of the homes in LoHi were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today, these historic homes have been renovated and updated to meet the needs of modern families while still retaining their original character. It’s also welcomes an exciting mix of modern architecture, new development projects, restaurants made from containers and other fun industrial vibes.

For those who want to stay active, there are plenty of options for bike paths, parks and recreation, including Confluence Park, Commons Park and Highland Bridge Park. LoHi’s close proximity to downtown Denver also offers walkable access to Denver’s Skate Park, Coors Field and the Pepsi Center. Also nearby are the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Selfie Museum and the Downtown Aquarium.
