ABOUT WESTMINSTER, CO

Westminster is located along Highway 36 halfway between Denver & Boulder, which makes it apopular commuting suburb for its over 110,000 residents. It offers downtown Denver light rail access on RTD’s B-Line along with a wide variety of options for shopping, restaurants and activities. Favorite attractions include the Butterfly Pavilion, which has more than 5,000 animals and 1,600 butterflies in their indoor tropical rainforest, and The Westminster Promenade, which is an outdoor pedestrian village with restaurants, a movie theatre, a bowling alley, ice rink and various play areas.


Westminster offers its residents extensive trails and open space, with 3,000+ acres of open space including the Big Dry Creek Trail, Rocky Mountain Greenway, Standley Lake Regional Park and 150+ miles of multi-purpose trails. Westminster City Park features an amazing recreation center along with a disc golf course, and Water World is minutes away. The city also offers several golf courses, including the Greg Mastriona Golf Course at Hyland Hills, Legacy Ridge Golf Course with amazing views, and Walnut Creek Golf Preserve which is home to over 77 species of wildlife.
